In this hypothetical scenario, I needed to create an interactive eLearning course on practical preventative hygiene methods for new seasonal sales associates and pharmacy techs at Gilbert's Pharmacy.
Designing backward from the learning objectives I used Freeform to create an outline of how the learning would flow to meet the learning objectives. I captured the user's attention using a Press Your Luck theme that I created in Photoshop for the training. The training was then created in Articulate Storyline 360 where I used click to reveal interactions, a slider, and animations to engage the learners. I ended up catching a cold while creating this project and could empathize with employees who would be taking the hypothetical training. I enjoyed creating the Press Your Luck board and animations. My favorite interaction is the slider which shows the most missed spots when washing.
After completing this training the learners would be able to:
Practice preventative hygiene methods to avoid contracting an illness.
Participate in active upkeep of frequently touched common areas in the store (card readers, cash registers, kiosks, etc.)
